Sometimes something happens that makes our primitive mind (including the amygdala, hippocampus and hypothalamus) trigger certain templates and neurotransmitters within the brain. If there is not a healthy balance, and constant flow of serotonin, then anyone could find themselves trapped in a vicious cycle of negative thinking. I work with my clients to re-address these factors to help them regain themselves again.
The main three things which can help with this are:

2. Positive activity
3. Positive social interaction
I know that these three things feel so hard for those caught in the grip of depression, so support of any small change, which feels achievable is so significant and not to be underestimated.
